Device Director

The IPV Device Director runs as a network service. communicating with the controlling client and worker services using standard web-based service protocols. As a remote network service. the device assignment and job management (based on job and device assignment rules). can be scripted in the System Administrator’s console.  A scalable architecture enables IPV to manage a number of devices in groups or as a pool. while also allowing the development of the Service to include advanced job allocation and priority decisions based on customer requirements.
